How do you select the villas in Ibiza?

While there are plenty of holiday villas in Ibiza, not all of them are as beautiful or as well-maintained as they look on photos. That’s why we only work with trusted partners and villa owners. We also have our site inspectors to visit the properties to make sure that they meet our thorough list of criteria. Only the best ones are selected and listed on our website. We also make sure that the location is good. You may have booked a gorgeous villa but what if there is a construction site just next door? Or what if the road to the villa is being maintained? We make sure things like this don’t happen. Once a villa has been listed on our website, we still do regular site inspections to make sure it is well-maintained. Do you really inspect all villas?

Yes, we do! We do not compromise on villa quality! Even after the villa has been listed on our website, we still do regular site inspections to see if the villa still lives up to our standards.

How can you guarantee the best price?

We work closely with villa owners and therefore we can guarantee the best price for all of our holiday rentals. What you see on the website is what you’ll pay. There’s no hidden fee. Should you find the same villa offered at a cheaper rate than our website, we will refund the difference.

How come there is no service fee? How do you make money?

We get paid directly by the villa owners. We bring customers to their villas by listing their villas on our website and the villa owner pays us for this service. Hence, there is no booking or service fee for you!

Booking process

Can I get some help to decide on my holiday and villa?

Most certainly you can! For some inspirations and tips to travel in Ibiza, you can read our dedicated travel blog. In need of more personal guidance and advice? Our team of villa consultants and concierges are stand-by and ready to help out 7 days a week. If you need to arrange a car and driver to go on a day trip, find a trustable babysitter, a personal chef or make arrangements for a birthday party, simply reach out to us. All is possible and nothing is too much to ask. You can be sure of excellent services!

I am not ready to confirm, can I simply enquire and place an option on a villa?

Yes. You can place an option on a villa. This will give you 3 days to think over before you make a decision. There is no charge for placing an option, and no credit card details are required.

How do I place an option?

On the page of the villa you are interested in, there is a request form. Simply fill out that form with your name, contact details and travel dates, you will receive a confirmation email from us. You can ask our travel consultants anything you want to know about the villa and the holiday destination. We aim to respond to emails within just 6 hours of time.

How do I confirm my booking?

Once you are ready to book the villa, we will email you instructions on how to make a payment to secure your booking.

What are the payment terms?

We ask our clients to pay a deposit of 50% of the total rental price to secure the booking of your holiday rental. The other 50% of the payment is due 60 days prior to your arrival unless stated otherwise.

What is the cancellation policy?

Deposits and balance payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. If you want to cancel your booking, let us know as soon as possible, we will always try to negotiate a refund for you. Do note that all refunds are subject to an administration fee of US$200. If your booking is made during the pandemic, you can check out our Covid-19 policies here.

What is included in the price of my rental? Do I have to pay more hidden fees or taxes?

This varies depending on the villa of your choice. All villas in Europ are subjected ti the local Eco-tax. Some villas have included this in the rate while others don't. Some villas offer daily complimentary breakfast and others only provide you with breakfast on the first morning of your stay. Some may already have child-friendly facilities like baby cribs and high chairs, while others can provide them with a fee. More luxurious villas may have a private chef included in the rate or a car with a chauffeur. You can find this information on the villa pages directly.

What payment method do you accept?

There are several ways to make payments. You can pay with your credit card, you can pay with cash or cheques at our Singapore office and you can do a bank transfer to one of our local bank accounts (Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany and the UK).
Payments made in currencies other than USD are based on the exchange rate from our bank on the date of payment.

How do I know that you are trustworthy?

Yes, we do! At this very moment, we have planted over 2000 trees to make this world a little greener day by day, one tree at a time.

Arrival and stay

How do I find the villa? Can you arrange my airport transfer? Is it included?

We can arrange a personal pick-up at the airport, taking you directly to your private Ibiza villa. You can also travel there yourself as you will be provided with the villa’s address and the manager’s contact.

Who will be there at the time of check-in?

The owner of the villa or his representative will be there to greet you upon arrival and show you around in your holiday home.

Who will be there during the stay? What service will I get?

All villas come with housekeeping and maintenance staff. Some villas also offer security services or luxuries such as a private chef or a chauffeur. On the villa page, you will be able to find what is included and what is available at extra costs.

What if I want to arrange activities during my stay? What do you recommend I do in Ibiza?

We always love to provide our customers with good ideas. You can find inspiration for your trip on our travel blog. On top of that, we have specialized travel consultants and concierges who are more than happy to give you some insider tips.

What if I need help during my stay? What if the villa is not as described? What if something doesn't work? Do you have a team on the ground?

We guarantee the quality of all of our villas. However, should a problem or question arise, we are always there to support. Excellent customer service is as important to us as the quality and authenticity of our villas. We are available to help, advise and assist 7 days a week and we will deal with problems as fast as we can.

Where are you based and how long have you been around?

Villa Finder is a Singaporean-based company founded back in 2012 by David and Daniel. With the growing success in the villa rental business on the island of Bali, we opened up a customer service in Seminyak to provide the best possible customer experience in 2013, one year after the start-up. The success of Bali Villa Finder led to the expansion of our business to other villa holiday destinations that we love. Ibiza Villa Finder is one of our latest additions to the mix. (hint: we have villas in other destinations as well)

Are you part of a larger group?

Villa Finder is the mother company. Under her care are rental websites in Bali, Sri Lanka, Phuket, Samui, Mauritius, Majorca and Ibiza.
